Unknown man attacked man (24) with a knife

A previously unknown man came into conflict with a 24-year-old passer-by for unknown reasons. The situation escalated when the unknown man suddenly pulled out a knife and attacked his victim.

A friend of the 24-year-old became aware of the incident in the fifth district and rushed to help. In an attempt to stop the alleged perpetrator, the helper himself was hit in the face before the attacker fled.

Stab wound to the upper body
The emergency services were called out immediately on Monday evening. Despite intensive search efforts, the identity of the perpetrator remained unknown for the time being. The victims suffered injuries as a result of the attacks.

The man who was attacked with the knife and suffered a stab wound to his upper body was given emergency medical treatment by emergency services and taken to hospital. The other man refused treatment by the emergency services.

The background to the attack and the identity of the attacker remain unclear at present. The police are asking the public to report any relevant information - also anonymously - to the local police stations.
