The Vienna Public Prosecutor's Office has brought charges against a 38-year-old woman who allegedly abseiled her four-year-old daughter from her second-floor apartment in Vienna-Döbling on February 15 using knotted bed sheets in order to remove the girl from the City of Vienna's child and youth welfare services (MA 11).
Trial on March 11
The woman is accused of endangering physical safety (§ 89 StGB) and child abduction (§ 195 StGB). A trial date has already been set - the hearing is scheduled for March 11.
