Rain and clouds

It will remain spring-like with up to 15 degrees

The coming week will remain mostly spring-like with temperatures of up to 15 degrees Celsius throughout Austria. Nevertheless, there will be more rain showers and dense cloud fields. Longer sunny spells are expected, especially in the east.

Monday will initially be very cloudy and rainy. However, the cloud cover will break up somewhat by the afternoon and the sun will appear more frequently. Only on the northern side of the Alps will it remain cloudy throughout. In the evening, some heavy rain showers are expected in Vorarlberg. Daytime highs will be between seven and 14 degrees.

Rainfall in the north and east will predominate throughout the day on Tuesday. Rain and snow will be heaviest in the north. The south will remain mostly dry and the sun will bring spring-like temperatures of up to 13 degrees. Early temperatures will be between minus three and plus six degrees, depending on the state.

Another wave of disturbances will bring dense clouds on Wednesday. Nevertheless, it will remain dry and mild. By the afternoon, the sun will occasionally shine through. The wind will be weak to moderate. Temperatures will be between nine and 13 degrees by the afternoon. It will be mildest in the east.

Rain showers, some of them heavy, may occur on Thursday in the far west as well as in the Innviertel and Waldviertel. A few rays of sunshine will ensure largely changeable weather throughout Austria. The snow line will be around 1900 meters above sea level. In the afternoon, temperatures will climb up to 15 degrees.

Friday will be very rainy throughout the country. The snow line will temporarily drop to around 700 meters above sea level and the wind will blow moderately from south to west. Temperatures between three and ten degrees are expected in the morning. Once again, daytime highs will be in the double-digit range with up to 13 degrees.
