Mother and child (4) hit by car on safety path

Bad accident on Monday in Steinach am Brenner (Innsbruck-Land district)! A local woman (45) wanted to cross a safety path on Brennerstrasse with her daughter (4). A car driver (25) hit them both with his vehicle. Both were injured and taken to hospital.

The 45-year-old woman wanted to cross Brennerstraße in Steinach with her four-year-old daughter shortly before 12 noon. The devastating incident then occurred on a safety path. As she was about to cross with her child on her arm, a car hit her directly on the safety path.

The two injured people were subsequently given medical treatment by emergency doctors and then taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Innsbruck Hospital.
