Ex-Salzburger bleeds and cheers in Milan kit

First he bled, then he cheered: ex-Salzburg player Strahinja Pavlovic delivered everything a fan's heart desires on Saturday evening in Milan's 1-0 home win against Udinese.

Just before the break, Pavlovic, who joined Milan from Salzburg in the summer, suffered a laceration. Turban up, and on they went. Fans are now celebrating the Serbian on social media as the "Killer Application". He also presents himself as an action hero on Insta. "Fighting to the end," he writes on the photos, which first show him bleeding and then cheering.

Ten for a long time
In many ways, it was a battle for Milan and Pavlvoic against Udinese on Saturday. The home side were outnumbered for over 60 minutes after Tijjani Reijnders was shown a straight red card. Samuel Chukwueze had already scored beforehand to give Milan a 1-0 lead and ultimately the final score.

Ex-bull Pavlovic seems to have arrived at Milan. The central defender - who has another ex-Salzburg player, Noah Okafor, as a team-mate at Milan - has made four appearances in the starting line-up in eight league games so far this season. He scored once, in the 2:2 draw against Lazio Rome in the third round.

In terms of points, however, more could have been possible. Milan have 14 points after eight rounds.
