15-year-old girl bitten by dog: Master walked on

A 15-year-old girl was injured by a dog bite on Friday afternoon in neighboring Berchtesgaden. The dog, which was on a lead, bit the teenager on the hip - she had to go to hospital. The dog's owner left without helping. The search is now on for the dog's owner or witnesses.

A 15-year-old local girl was bitten by a dog on Friday afternoon and injured on the hip. The teenager was walking in front of a drugstore on Triftplatz in Berchtesgaden when an Australian Shepherd inflicted skin injuries on her hip. The girl had to be treated at Bad Reichenhall hospital.

Companion didn't help either
The dog - light brown fur with white spots - was on a lead belonging to the male dog owner. Brazen: The man simply walked away after the bite without looking after the girl. The 15-year-old describes the man as around 50 years old, 1.70 meters tall, normal build, greyish three-day beard and olive-colored rain jacket. He was also accompanied by another man.

The Berchtesgaden police are asking the dog owner or witnesses who can provide relevant information about the dog owner to contact them on 0049-8652-9467-0.
