After accident: body not found until the next day

Another fatal accident involving an e-scooter: a 66-year-old man fell over an embankment in Hartberg in eastern Styria. His body was only found the next day.

According to the police, the 66-year-old from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district was riding his e-scooter on Ressavarstraße in Hartberg. Between 3.30 p.m. and midnight, he probably crashed and fell over an embankment that was five meters high and difficult to see.

The man was only found by a passer-by shortly before 11 a.m. on the public holiday. She immediately alerted the emergency services - but the emergency doctor was only able to determine that the Styrian had died. According to the police, there are currently no indications that the accident was caused by someone else.
