Anonymous complaint led to house search

Over the past few weeks, police officers from the Rennweg police station on Katschberg have been investigating a 44-year-old man. An anonymous complaint got the ball rolling.

An anonymous complaint brought the Carinthian man to the attention of the police: the 44-year-old man from the district of Spittal an der Drau regularly and repeatedly posted pictures, songs and various articles with "national socialist ideas", according to the officers. This is why the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt ordered a house search at his home address on July 29.

"In the course of the house searches, several data carriers, such as cell phones, tablets and memory cards, as well as a small amount of marijuana and prohibited pyrotechnic firecrackers were seized," according to the summary. The confiscated data carriers are now being analyzed by the State Criminal Police Office.

In the boiler room, the police also seized a swastika mosaic measuring approximately 70 x 70 cm. The 44-year-old will therefore be charged under the Prohibition Act.
