59-year-old died after falling down a cellar staircase

An unfortunate fall cost the life of a 59-year-old woman in Feldkirchen (Carinthia) on Saturday morning.

The woman from the Feldkirchen district probably wanted to go into the cellar of her detached house at around 11 a.m. "The 59-year-old fell down a staircase into the cellar and seriously injured her head," reported the police.

Despite resuscitation
The emergency services were called immediately. "Despite prolonged resuscitation, the emergency services were unable to save the woman's life", the police continued. The 59-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
