Not all pets are lucky enough to grow up in a safe environment. Here we present some animals with whom fate has not been so kind. They can be adopted by animal welfare organizations.

Milow – der Lernwillige
(Bild: Laura Berndl)

Milow had to make a long journey with countless stops before the Stafford mix (2 1/2 years old) ended up at the Linz animal shelter. Previously hardly trained, the strong male has already learned a lot, but he still needs some fine-tuning. Phone: 0732/247887.

Balou und Bandit – Freunde fürs Leben
(Bild: Österreichischer Tierschutzverein)

Balou and Bandit (3 and 4 years old) have been together through thick and thin all their lives. The duo is full of the desire to explore and would love a quiet home with the opportunity to run around. A gentle diet is important due to health problems. Phone: 0660/3489863.

Klaus-Maria – ein Exot
(Bild: Tierheim Linz)

Klaus-Maria has been officially adopted. The young tiger python should go to people who can offer him suitable living conditions. Phone: 0732/247887.

Vicky – ein Findling
(Bild: Tierheim Linz)

Vicky fell into a live trap in Puchenau. The four-year-old cat is very people-oriented and trusting. She gets on well with other cats and even dogs and would like to go outside. Phone: 0732/247887.

Churro – ein quirliger Jungspund
(Bild: Laura Berndl)

Churro came to the shelter as a found dog from the fire department. The one-year-old mongrel had probably been passed around several times, his upbringing was inadequate and Churro probably lived in isolation. The male dog would certainly be in the best of hands with experienced dogs who can channel his energy in the right direction. Phone: 0732/247887.

Salt – für Vogelfreunde
(Bild: Tierheim Linz)

Salt (pictured) and Pepper are foundlings. The two cockatiels are looking for a spacious aviary together. Phone: 0732/247887.

Nero – für große Tierfreunde
(Bild: Tierheim Linz)

Nero needs a free-range place with understanding owners. A cat flap should definitely be available in the new home because the cat is otherwise unclean. The ten-year-old velvet paw needs special food to treat bladder grit. The cuddly four-legged friend gets along well with children and other animals. Phone: 0732/247887.
