Snowy roads, but it’s going to be hot at the weekend
Sleet, snow in the Haselgraben and a bit of sunshine in between - the weather in Upper Austria went crazy at the weekend. It should stay that way until the middle of the week, but then it should get much better again.

Sleet was already causing dangerous situations on the roads on Saturday evening: Eleven traffic accidents occurred on the A1 highway in the Upper Austrian lake district due to sudden showers of sleet. Vehicles with summer tires in particular skidded. On Sunday, however, there was a winter comeback in the Haselgraben, which pushed many a driver to their limits and beyond. Numerous cars ended up in the ditch.
Up to 20 degrees
And the meteorologists promise that the weather will remain varied. It will be cool and rainy (especially on Wednesday). But there is also good news: From the middle of the week, temperatures will rise again during the day, with 20 degrees possible by next weekend.
