Where to get a schnitzel with salad for under 7 euros

Inflation here, increased energy costs there - prices in the restaurant trade have exploded in the last two years, much to the chagrin of diners. But there are still a few exceptions! The "Krone" found out where you can still get a schnitzel with salad for less than seven euros. 

Every Wednesday around noon, the Mediaprint canteen in Vienna's 19th district, run by the company Eurest, is very busy. The reason: Wednesday is schnitzel day, and the menu alternates between pork, chicken and turkey schnitzel. Employees pay little anyway, but: the company restaurant is also open to external guests - and they also pay little, namely only 6.90 euros for a schnitzel with a side dish and salad. Restaurant manager Thomas Müllner: "We sell the most food on Wednesdays. If you offer a chicken schnitzel with chips, you've won. That's always the best."
