From May 6 in Wörgl
Focus on gardening: German chain soon in Tyrol
The first Thomas Philipps discount store in Tyrol will soon be opening in Wörgl on an area of around 2300 square meters. Over 18,000 items will be available. This will be the German chain's ninth location in Austria.
Good news for gardening enthusiasts, especially in the Wörgl area. On May 6, Thomas Philipps will open its first store in Tyrol and also the largest in western Austria. "On around 2300 square meters, store manager Carsten Nordhoff and his team offer everything needed for household, home, garden and pets," says the German family business. The new store offers 18,000 items, from garden products, household goods and decorations to drugstore items and pet food.
Already eight locations in Austria
"There are 200 additional promotional and seasonal products every week. And all at low German discount prices," assures the company. It currently operates eight locations in Austria. "The fact that we are already opening our ninth store in Austria within a very short space of time shows that our price-conscious concept is well received by people," says Martin Gaber, Managing Director of Thomas Philipps in Austria.
The store is being built opposite the M4 shopping center.
