Thomas Sageder (LASK coach): "Finally the first win of the new year. It was one of the most difficult games since I've been coach here. You could see how much the head matters in soccer. I'm just happy that the team mastered this difficult task together. I hope the win helps us on our way. We can't afford to miss chances like that. I want to stick with our attacking players until the end of the season."

Felix Luckeneder (LASK goalscorer): "A lot has fallen away with the goal. You can see that there is still some room for improvement. But it was important that we got our first three points. It's good for our self-confidence."

Peter Pacult (Klagenfurt coach): "The team put in a good performance today. We challenged LASK. The LASK goalkeeper was outstanding, he's doing well. If we had made one of our chances, the game could have turned out differently."

Thorsten Mahrer (Klagenfurt defender): "That was a good performance from us. The only thing we can blame ourselves for is that we weren't consistent in our finishing. We have to take the lead, then it will be difficult for LASK. It's easier to play with a lead. We conceded a goal from a set piece, otherwise we defended well. The result hurts. We have to keep attacking, keep performing and then the points will come. We have to be more consistent, become more mature as a team."
