On Friday, International Women's Day will be celebrated in Vienna with an unprecedented program: From rallies to concerts and information events to workshops.

Vienna as she wants it - this is the motto of the first Vienna Women's Week. The highlight takes place on Friday at City Hall. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors to the "Open City Hall" can look forward to an extensive program with guided tours on the topic of "Women's Paths through City Hall", discussions, music by Mira Lu Kovacs, art installations, childcare, a craft station and information opportunities on topics such as equal rights, further education, protection against violence and women's rights - all free of charge.

Demo and pop-up
The big demo for the "International Feminist Day of Struggle" starts at 5 p.m. at Columbusplatz in Favoriten. From there, the march will continue via Südtiroler Platz and Favoritenstraße to Karlsplatz, where the final rally will take place at 7.30 pm.

An art and design pop-up will take place at Catrinette (9th, Porzellangasse 28) on Friday from 4 to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. In a cozy atmosphere, you can browse through the offerings with snacks and drinks and chat with the artists.

The film "Persona non grata" will be shown free of charge in the Votivkino at 5 pm - the true story about ex-ski racer Nicola Werdenigg and sexualized violence in skiing.
