Anant Ambani (28), the descendant of Indian oil tycoon Mukesh Ambani (66, fortune: 115 billion dollars), and his childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant (29) celebrated a wedding reception of superlatives! 

The three-day pre-wedding party, reportedly costing 140 million euros, was attended by very prominent guests from all over the world, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and former US presidential daughter Ivanka Trump and her entourage.

US superstar Rihanna provided the entertainment. She sang barefoot, danced and was reportedly presented with a cheque for almost 9 million euros.

Richest man in Asia
The groom's father is the head and main shareholder of the energy, textiles and mobile phone conglomerate Reliance Industries.

He is considered one of the richest people in Asia.

Breathtaking spectacle
The breathtaking spectacle took place at one of the family's luxury estates in Jamnagar, in the Indian state of Gujarat. The family home covers an area the size of 200 soccer pitches and even has its own zoo.

The celebrations with the wealthy guests included a visit to the Reliance animal rescue center with elephants and tigers, according to local media reports.

51,000 free meals
In Jamnagar in Gujarat, the billionaire also provided 51,000 residents with free food and had Hindu temples built as part of the celebrations, according to reports.

Lavish weddings as a family tradition
Mukesh Ambani has already organized lavish weddings for his two older children: in 2018, for example, daughter Isha married the son of another billionaire. At the time, there was speculation about expenses of up to 100 million US dollars.
