As in the previous year, Otar Kiteishvili of champions Sturm Graz was named player of the season at the 29th Bruno Gala at the Globe Vienna on Monday evening. 

The team of the season was Cup winners WAC, whose coach Dietmar Kühbauer was voted coach of the season. With Nikolas Polster, the Carinthians also have the goalkeeper of the season in their ranks. Marko Arnautovic can call himself Legionnaire of the Year. Walter Altmann received the "Bruno" for referee of the season.

  The trophy for the best player in the 2nd division went to Mark Grosse, who achieved promotion with Ried, while former Rapid striker Guido Burgstaller received an honorary award. Verena Volkmer (Austria Vienna), who has since also retired, was honored as player of the season, while Austria also took home the title for the best women's team. Sarah Zadrazil (Bayern Munich) was named Legionnaire of the Season. The election among active players was organized by the Association of Footballers (VdF) in cooperation with spusu.
