Sofia Vergara: Her love life is a mystery

Sofia Vergara has claimed that she is "somehow single" - even though she has been dating orthopaedic surgeon Justin Saliman for more than a year. Somehow, she doesn't seem to know for sure herself.

In a recent interview with "Us Weekly," the "Modern Family" actress gave a confusing update on her relationship status. Days later, however, she was spotted with her partner again. Speaking about New York being a great city to date, she told the magazine, "Absolutely. Actually, I was talking about it yesterday because I'm single now, so ... kind of single. Whatever."

Back in August, Sofia explained that she was "enjoying" life with Justin. The 52-year-old told "Entertainment Tonight": "I'm enjoying life, I'm so grateful for the people around me."

The brunette beauty had previously claimed that she can't be too picky about who she dates. The actress, who split from her husband Joe Manganiello in 2023, revealed that she is open-minded when it comes to love.

"I mean, it's already hard for a 50-year-old woman to find someone. I'm not going to be picky now and say: 'Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut.' No, I mean, I'm not that picky," she clarified in an interview with People. Sofia also explained that love can be a "tricky" thing: "You never know what the future will bring. You always have to give the best you can and be the best person for the other person."
