Man attacked with glass bottle: Perpetrator on the run

Brutal attack on Tuesday evening in the Favoriten district of Vienna: A man attacked an 18-year-old with a broken glass bottle. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his neck.

The two men are said to have had a disagreement in the station concourse. The argument moved outside. 

There, one of the men suddenly grabbed a broken glass bottle and attacked his opponent with it. The 18-year-old was injured in the neck and taken to hospital after first aid. There is no danger to life.

The attacker fled in an unknown direction. An immediate search was unsuccessful. The investigation is in full swing.
