Meeting in Salzburg

Tuning scene caused a major police operation

On Saturday evening, numerous tuners came to Salzburg again. They met at the Airport Center and then drove on towards the Salzachseen lakes and Oberndorf. There were 30 reports and 20 police reports. 

Once again, Saturday evening saw the roar of the powerful engines. Around 500 vehicles took part in the meeting. The drivers came from Salzburg, neighboring federal states, neighboring Bavaria and even Switzerland. The first meeting point was the Airport Center in Wals. Then the convoy drove on. Thanks to an intensive police presence, the individual groups were able to split up again and again at their meeting points. There were no riots.

The last stops were Siggerwiesen and finally Oberndorf. The meeting ended shortly after two o'clock in the morning. There were 30 reports, 20 organ mandates were issued. The police took the license plates off two tuning vehicles on the spot.
