Vienna again in October

Increase: more ATP 500 tournaments in 2025

In 2025, there will be three more ATP 500 tennis tournaments, including the Erste Bank Open in Vienna (starting October 20), than this year. This is according to the tournament calendar for next year published on Friday.

Dallas, Doha and Munich can look forward to an increase from a 250-strong event. A total of 60 tournaments in 29 countries will take place, including the Generali Open in Kitzbühel (ATP 250), which starts on July 20.

Season finale in Turin
Kitzbühel has great competition with the simultaneous tournaments in Umag (clay) and Washington (hard court), which is regarded as preparation for the Masters 1000 tournament in Toronto. As usual, Vienna has to "fight" with Basel for the best players and takes place the week before the Masters 1000 event in Paris. In this tournament category, the events in Toronto and Cincinnati have each been extended to twelve days, as was the case last year in Rome, Madrid and Shanghai.

Estoril will no longer be played in 2025. Instead of Cordoba, the tournament will be played on grass in Mallorca before Wimbledon. Hamburg moves from July to May. The final ATP Finals tournament of the season will take place in Turin, while the Next Gen ATP Finals will be held in Jeddah for the third time in a row.
