Tyrolean tourism company
61 million € next target
The Tyrolean company Alps Resorts is expanding by nine locations by the end of the year. The aim is to increase turnover by 20 percent and break the 61 million euro barrier, says the managing director.
The Tyrolean tourism company "Alps Resorts" is aiming for strong growth. The company already operates 37 vacation resorts in Austria and Bavaria. At the end of May, this number will increase to 39 with the opening of the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld and Gartnerkofel Nassfeld Alpine resorts in Carinthia. The aim: "To further develop the region, establish the winter destination as a year-round destination and place a strong focus on Alpine summer," says Managing Director Thomas Payr.
By expanding with the two locations, the company is "taking its position as one of the largest accommodation providers in the region".
We are always open to new business takeovers and projects in Austria, South Tyrol and the Alpine regions of Germany.

Further locations in sight in the coming months
After the opening of the two new locations, Alps Resorts will operate a total of 1,400 residential units, the company estimates. But the two new resorts in Carinthia are by no means the end of the story. The opening of seven more is planned in the coming months. "We are always open to new acquisitions and projects in Austria, South Tyrol and the German Alpine regions. As a forward-looking partner in the region, we rely on local expertise and thus strengthen the local economy," says Payr.
The goal by the end of the year is to achieve sales growth of 20 percent and thus exceed the sales threshold of 61 million euros.
