Farewell to ManCity?
Haaland: “You never know what the future holds”
Erling Haaland was asked about his future ahead of the Champions League game against Copenhagen (today at 9pm). The Manchester City star striker refused to completely rule out a move ...
"I'm really happy. Especially with the people that surround me, the manager, the directors, the board, it's a group of amazing people and I'm really happy, I have to say," Haaland made it clear that he was not desperately thinking of leaving the Sky Blues, but he could not guarantee eternal loyalty either.
"If I say this now, it will probably be a huge headline tomorrow, but you never know what the future holds, but I'm happy. You can write that, but you also have to write everything I said before. I'm happy," the Norwegian continued.
Impressive trophy collection
Haaland has been linked with Real Madrid several times in recent months and years, but a move to the "royals" currently seems unrealistic. After all, the 23-year-old is not exactly short of titles and awards in Manchester. In his first season, Haaland won the FA Cup, the Premier League and the Champions League, becoming top scorer in the latter two competitions. In addition, the European Footballer of the Year award adorns the exceptional footballer's remarkable trophy collection.
