Dornbirn acquires “prime property” for 4.4 million euros

Dornbirn's mayor Andrea Kaufmann had already set aside a few extra million euros for the purchase of properties when drawing up the 2024 budget. However, she did not want to reveal exactly what for in December. Now the purchase is on the agenda for the city representatives.

The political representatives on the finance committee have already given the green light for the purchase of the listed Capuchin monastery in the heart of Dornbirn. At the meeting on Thursday, the city representatives are also expected to approve the purchase of the former Capuchin monastery, which has been home to Polish Franciscans from the province of Poznan since 2004.
