Burglar fired at two people in an apartment
In the middle of the day on Monday, a 34-year-old man broke into an apartment in Salzburg-Maxglan. He demanded money from the occupant and an acquaintance of the woman and fired a shot. The police were able to arrest the perpetrator. The victims are unharmed.
On Monday, a 34-year-old man forced his way into a woman's apartment in the Maxglan district of Salzburg. The 42-year-old was there with an acquaintance (49). The robber demanded money, threatened them both and fired a signal weapon, but missed the victims of the robbery.
Projectile smashed into window behind burglary victims
The projectile shattered a window pane behind the woman and the man. The perpetrator then dropped the weapon and ran away. Based on tips, the police were able to arrest him with two patrols shortly after the crime. The female resident and the 49-year-old man were unharmed.
The 34-year-old will be charged with attempted aggravated robbery at the Salzburg public prosecutor's office. The investigation is ongoing.
