Cooling off from Monday
Lots of sunshine and up to 19 degrees on the vacation weekend
The coming weekend will be unusually mild and above all sunny with temperatures of up to 19 degrees Celsius throughout Austria. Rain showers are only on the cards from Monday, which will then also bring cooler weather.
Friday will start slightly cloudy throughout Austria. However, it will remain largely dry, with only isolated rain showers possible from East Tyrol to Upper Carinthia. The east of the country will be the warmest with some sunshine. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from the south to southwest. Temperatures will climb to 19 degrees in the afternoon.
The mild foehn weather will continue on Saturday. The sun will prevail for the most part. The snow line will be above 1500 to 2000 meters. Nine to 19 degrees can be reached, especially in the east.

Sunday will be very cloudy in some federal states. Rain showers will occur from time to time and the wind will be moderate to brisk. Early temperatures will be between three and ten degrees, with daytime highs reaching twelve degrees.
In the east and south of Austria, Monday will bring a lot of rain and cloud cover. By the afternoon, it will clear up a little and the sun will make an appearance. In the east, the north-westerly wind will blow quite briskly for a few hours on Monday. Temperatures may reach a maximum of twelve degrees during the course of the day.
According to weather experts, the exact forecast for Tuesday is still quite uncertain. The western and northern Alps may be covered with heavy cloud and precipitation. Only in the lowlands will it remain mostly dry and sunny. After the extremely mild weekend, temperatures will only reach highs of up to eleven degrees.
