Wild ride: Drunk driver crashes into display board
A display board stopped the involuntary ride of a 36-year-old driver in Gloggnitz in the district of Neunkirchen. His driver's license was confiscated.
On Tuesday afternoon, a driver drove his small truck off the road on the B17 in Gloggnitz (district of Neunkirchen) and crashed into the electronic price display board of a petrol station. A traffic sign and a snow pole were also knocked over during the involuntary "ride". The 36-year-old driver from Vienna has lost his driver's license for the time being.
Drunk driver's license confiscated
A breathalyzer test was negative, but the driver vehemently refused a medical drug test. The 36-year-old faces charges from the Neunkirchen district authority and the Wiener Neustadt public prosecutor's office.
