For the first time since 1998, the Austrian national soccer team is back at a World Cup, to which ORF reacts promptly. The public broadcaster is changing its evening program.

After the historic 1:1 against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday evening in the Ernst Happel Stadium, the broadcaster is changing its program and will air a 45-minute special on ORF 1 at 8:15 pm on Wednesday (today): "World Cup 2026 - here we come!"

Fans will be presented with exclusive impressions of the emotional scenes immediately after the final whistle and the celebrations. In the studio, Rainer Pariasek welcomes ÖFB President Josef Pröll, Andreas Herzog, Herbert Prohaska and Viktoria Schnaderbeck, among others. Michael Gregoritsch joins the show live.
