Vienna's Green Party leader and top candidate Judith Pühringer on immigration (into the social system), trees on the Gürtel and the education crisis. And we asked her: Who is to blame for the fact that we need terror bollards at the Christmas market today?

"Krone": Ms. Pühringer, you are the lead candidate for the Vienna Greens in the next election, and although you have been in a leadership position since 2020, most Viennese don't know you. How did you manage that?
Judith Pühringer: I came into politics in 2020 as a career changer. In the middle of the corona crisis, when many people had other concerns than city politics. Despite these difficult starting conditions, we achieved a lot in opposition.
