After stalking trial
Schlager star Holzner: “The man is undergoing treatment”
She is one of the shooting stars of the pop music industry, and Styrian Natalie Holzner now performs dozens of shows a year. A stalking case taught her about the dark side of the business very early on. She has now told the "Krone" what lessons she learned from this.
It was a small media tsunami that accompanied Styrian pop singer Natalie Holzner through the fall last year. The beautiful world she sings about had darkened when a man in his late 40s mutated into an extremely persistent fan of the 32-year-old blonde. The man sent her 50, 60, sometimes even more messages. "I want to die with you" or "The two of us to the end" wrote the admirer, and he gave her a - non-activated - tracking device.
Life after the trial
The trial for alleged stalking then caused another stir, mainly because the court came to the conclusion that the accused should be acquitted after examining and evaluating the facts of the case. A shock for Holzner, as she told the "Krone" at the time. However, she continued on her unwavering path, which has now taken her back on a promotional tour for her new album "Liebe an die Macht". The "Krone" met her, the 32-year-old cheerful soul, for an interview in the Prater in Vienna.
