New excitement after corpse found on Lake Constance

After the violent death of a 70-year-old woman in Nonnenhorn on Lake Constance (Germany) made headlines last week, passers-by discovered the body of a young man in Langenargen, just a few kilometers away, on Saturday. 

At around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday evening, a seriously injured person was found by passers-by in Langenargen's Mühlstraße. The initially unknown man had massive injuries to his chest, from which he died a short time later despite emergency medical treatment.

 After the circumstances were initially completely unclear, the scene was cordoned off and illuminated with the support of the Langenargen fire department and extensive forensic and investigative measures were carried out by the Friedrichshafen criminal investigation department.

In the course of this, it was possible to identify the deceased and, according to the current state of the investigation, to rule out any outside influence in the death of the 27-year-old. According to the police, there is no connection to the riverside festival currently taking place. The investigation is ongoing.
