Price comparison: This is how much a Westliga visit costs

In which stadium do you pay the most for admission? Where do fans get the cheapest beer? The "Krone" took a close look at the five Salzburg Westliga clubs and compared the prices for a family.

In sporting terms, Austria Salzburg set the tone in the Regionalliga West with FC Pinzgau breathing down their necks. The two are also ahead in terms of ticket prices. But how much does a family - father, mother and two children (aged 8 and 17) - pay if they want to cheer on one of the five Salzburg West League clubs and each treat themselves to a drink and something to eat? The "Krone" price comparison provides the answers:

Austria Salzburg: The current league leaders are the only team to offer two different categories. The family would have to fork out 46 euros for four seats and 39.10 euros for standing room in the fan sector. With four Bosna, two beers and two soft drinks, the family would pay 82 and 75.10 euros respectively. The Violets are clearly the most expensive. But it pays off for the fans, because the Maxglaner are still unblemished after nine home games.

FC Pinzgau: If you buy your tickets online in advance, you save two euros compared to the box office (15.-) in Saalfelden. The "Krone" family did just that and ended up paying 73.40 euros at the end of the afternoon of soccer and have only seen one defeat and one draw in eight home wins to date.

Bischofshofen: In sporting terms, the Pongau team's season has been one of constant ups and downs. Adonis Spica's team never got on a roll. Even though BSK is banned from serving food, hungry and thirsty alike will find what they are looking for. There is no Bosna, but there is a schnitzel roll. With admission and drinks, you pay 70.40 euros.

FC Pinzgau: Day ticket: 15 €. Beer: 4,50 €. Lemonade: 4,50 €. Leberkäsesemmel: € 3.20. Bosna: € 4.60.

Bischofshofen: Day ticket: €12, free admission up to 15 years. Beer: € 4.20. Lemonade: 3 €. Sausage roll: € 3. Schnitzel sandwich: 5 €.

SV Wals-Grünau:Day ticket: €12, reduced (pensioners, civilian and military service, students) €10, free admission up to 15. Beer: €4.40. Lemonade: € 3.50. Leberkäsesemmel: 3 €. Schnitzel roll: € 4.50. Bosna: 5, 50 €.

St. Johann: Day ticket: €10, free admission until 15. Beer: €4.50. Lemonade: €3.50. Leberkäsesemmel: €3.50. Bosna: 6 €.

Wals-Grünau: If you go to Wals in spring, you'll get a lot on offer. Supporters are happy to pay €71.80 for the current run of success (two wins in two games).

St. Johann: Ernst Lottermoser's troupe wins the price comparison and is the cheapest at 70 euros. Although a tasty Bosna in the Alpenarena is the most expensive, at ten euros per adult, it is the cheapest. However, the Pongau fans are not having it too easy at the moment, having only been able to marvel at three home victories. However, the team from Pongau won the regional cup quarter-final against Anif 4:1. 

"We finally scored a few goals again. That gives us strength for the next tasks," cheered coach Ernst Lottermoser. He and his men will face the winner of the Neumarkt-Kuchl clash in the semi-finals on Wednesday, April 3.
