Young duo replaces ORF star Pariasek at the World Ski Championships

ORF star Rainer Pariasek will mainly appear in the finish area at the World Ski Championships in Saalbach (February 4 to 16) - and will no longer welcome the guests of the day in the World Championships studio as usual. Lukas Schweighofer and Karina Toth, a younger presenter duo, will now take over this task.

Pariasek and Alina Zellhofer will be reporting from the finish stadium with interviews and analyses. In the start area and on the Medal Plaza, Alina Eberstaller will be catching up on the latest news, as she did recently in the World Cup. The popular World Cup studio with the heroes of the day, all summaries and the corresponding analyses will now be hosted by Toth and Schweighofer - and no longer by Pariasek.

The commentators for the women's races are Peter Brunner and Ernst Hausleitner, those for the men Oliver Polzer and Thomas König.

The experts
Niki Hosp, Alexandra Meissnitzer and camera operator Nici Schmidhofer will provide the expertise for the women's races, while Armin Assinger, Hans Knauss, Benjamin Raich, Joachim Puchner and Thomas Sykora will analyze the men's races.

Michael Bacher, Paul Passler, Caroline Pflanzl, Florian Prates, Thomas Rathgeb, Christian Russegger and Andreas Thonhauser are on the road as reporters.

70 hours live
In total, ORF 1 will be reporting live from Saalbach for around 70 hours, showing all training sessions and races live - with up to 56 cameras including race drones and helmet cameras.
