According to statistics, every seventh person over the age of 25 worldwide dies from a circulatory disorder in the brain. Although there are signs in many cases, the danger is often underestimated and not acted upon quickly enough - especially in younger people. As was the case with a 45-year-old woman from Burgenland. The patient was treated for migraines after suffering a stroke.

A sudden circulatory disorder leads to an undersupply of oxygen to the brain and thus to disorders or failures of various bodily functions. It can affect anyone from infants to senior citizens. But hardly anyone expects it to happen to younger people. But how does a stroke occur and what are the signs?
