Investigators discovered half a kilo of "weed" and 24,000 euros in the apartment of a suspected drug dealer.

Investigators from the Northern Regional Criminal Police Office had been on the 29-year-old's trail for some time, but now the trap snapped shut: with a search warrant in their pockets, the investigators paid the suspect an unannounced visit on Thursday afternoon.

Weapons, drugs and money
In the apartment in Brigittenau, the detectives seized more than 24,000 euros in cash and almost half a kilogram of herbal cannabis as well as two blank-firing pistols and a so-called manslayer.

The burden of proof was overwhelming, so the Viennese man did not beat about the bush for long and made a comprehensive confession: according to this, he had been selling drugs to people since 2020 - he allowed himself to be arrested without resistance.
