Unknown man rammed into skier – seriously injured
A nasty incident occurred on Easter Saturday around midday in the Kühtai ski area! An unknown skier rammed into a German woman (59). She fell and was seriously injured. The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
The 59-year-old German skier was skiing on the red marked piste no. 6 in the Kühtai ski area at around 12 noon. At the level of the "Kids Park", she was rammed on the left side by a previously unknown skier while making a right turn.
The woman fell and remained lying down for a brief moment. Other winter sports enthusiasts became aware of her and provided first aid. Despite a serious injury to her shoulder, she then climbed around 50 meters to the Wiesbergbahn mountain station and skied down into the valley. According to the police, she went to see a doctor there.
So far there is no trace of the person who caused the accident. He was wearing a purple top and gray trousers.
