20,000 euros for the Salzburg music scene

Salzburg is announcing special funding for music productions, recordings and music videos for the sixth time in 2024. The city is providing a total of 20,000 euros for this purpose.

The areas supported include various music genres such as rock, pop, electronic, hip hop, alternative, world music and jazz. The amount of funding is up to 3,000 euros per project, depending on the size of the project. Deputy Mayor Bernhard Auinger emphasizes the importance of funding for the local music scene. Dagmar Aigner, Head of the Department of Culture, is looking forward to the submissions and emphasizes the importance of funding for up-and-coming musicians in Salzburg.

Interested artists whose main residence is in Salzburg or who have a proven track record in the city's music scene are encouraged to apply and enrich Salzburg's musical diversity.
