A man from Burgenland shook and beat his five-month-old daughter and then satisfied himself. A video of his heinous acts finally convicted him. 

Most of the time when the accused (28) was alone with their daughter, she screamed or behaved unusually afterwards, the 27-year-old mother told the Eisenstadt Regional Court. So on July 6, 2022, the woman made an attempt, placed the cell phone on a box suitable for a camera and pressed record.

Shaken until the girl was quiet
What you can see: The man takes the five-month-old girl, shakes her until there is no more sound; hits her several times on the head and face with the flat of his hand; covers her mouth; puts her to bed and then lays a hand on himself. "The relationship with my girlfriend was no longer right. She didn't want sex and only ever wanted to sleep. That's not enough for me," said the pizza delivery man, who, well, couldn't score any sympathy points in front of Judge Karin Lückl.

Partner also abused
He admitted that he had said that the child was "shitty" and that he would prefer to "put it in a home". "I'll make you a new one!", he said to the 27-year-old woman, whom he is said to have assaulted and abused several times. Because, as previously mentioned, she simply didn't want to.

The man from southern Burgenland has to spend 17 months in prison thinking about what he has done. Absolutely. Probably not enough time to get his thoughts back together. Not legally binding.
