Thomas Kummer ensures that Carinthia's forests do not die out. As a harvest and seed entrepreneur, the Vellachtal native picks the seeds from trees and often has to climb to lofty heights to do so. The "Krone" looked over the shoulder of the "Baumkraxler".

"You can't be afraid, but you have to have enough respect for heights and for what you're doing," says Thomas Kummer. As a harvest and seed entrepreneur, the man from Vellachtal is constantly climbing to dizzying heights. Especially when the trees are ready for harvesting.
