Serious foot injuries after a fun slide

The fun is over: a German vacationer suffered serious foot injuries during a slide at an amusement park in the district of Grieskirchen. 

A 37-year-old German vacationer spent Sunday at an amusement park in the district of Grieskirchen. At around 4.50 pm, she used the "tubing track" with the ski jump. She sat down alone on a large "tube" (pneumatic tires with a hard plastic base) and slid down the ski jump.

Flown to Passau
 She was catapulted into the air on the ski jump and her left leg went under the tube when she landed. She suffered a serious foot injury as a result. After receiving emergency medical treatment, the 37-year-old was flown to Passau Hospital by rescue helicopter.
