Fire alarm! Perpetrator set fire near train station

Police in Villach are investigating arson at the train station. One man is suspected. 

A pile of wood parked near the train station in Föderlach in Wernberg was ablaze on Wednesday evening. Fortunately, emergency services were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent woodland.

Police investigating and looking for perpetrators
Train services therefore had to be completely suspended until 10 pm. The police suspect arson and also have a suspect. "Before the emergency services arrived, witnesses noticed a male person, about 25 years old, 175 cm tall, with blond hair, wearing a light blue T-shirt and light-colored shorts. This person boarded the train in the direction of Villach.
