Two driving licenses confiscated in just a few minutes

During police checks in Eugendorf on Thursday evening, law enforcement officers took two drunk drivers off the road.

On Thursday evening, Eugendorf police carried out driver and vehicle checks on the L102 in Seekirchen. 

A 69-year-old driver from Salzburg was stopped and found to be impaired. A breathalyzer test confirmed the suspicion with a value of 0.80 per mille. But that was not all: while the officers were leaving the checkpoint, they noticed a vehicle damaged at the front. The check revealed that the 42-year-old female driver was also under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level of 0.90 per mille.

Both the elderly man and the woman had to surrender their driving licenses on the spot and will now be reported to the Salzburg-Umgebung police station.
