Accountant transferred money to her own account

Accountants are actually considered to be extremely correct. However, a 44-year-old woman from Timelkam (Upper Austria) did not live up to this cliché. The woman is said to have caused losses of around 200,000 euros over the past four years.

The 44-year-old from Timelkam is suspected of having illegally transferred a six-figure euro sum to her own account or that of her 47-year-old partner over the last four years.

During this time, the accused worked as an accountant in a company in the district of Vöcklabruck. Among other things, she had to carry out bank transfers for the company. However, the woman had made these transfers to herself by indicating other recipients in the recipient's name, but entering her own account number or the account number of her partner. The owner incurred a loss of around 200,000 euros as a result.
