Ice bull Hochkofler gives out the perseverance slogan. KAC usually has the better answer. According to Schneider's statement, the case has been with the league's legal commission since Wednesday.
Disappointment and frustration were palpable on the Bulls' bench and in the dressing room on Tuesday following the 2-0 loss in the first period. And culminated after the 2:4 in the Ice Hockey League final game three at KAC in Peter Schneider's verbal attack due to unequal distribution of penalties: "I understand that the league doesn't necessarily want Salzburg to win three times in a row." The road to a third title has become even rockier for Salzburg with the 1:2 series. KAC has the better answer to a lot of things, knows how to walk the tightrope of borderline physical play better, thus throwing the Bulls, who are struggling for consistency, off their stride.
In addition, Genoway, Schneider and Murphy seem handicapped and are unable to play to their full potential. And it is becoming increasingly clear that the Carinthians, the best team throughout the season, want the title more.
Of course, giving up is not an option for the Bulls and coach David, who is now expected to make a few moves. Peter Hochkofler is convinced: "The series is far from over."
