Probably not a morning person

Woken by roommate: man (59) pulls out knife

 

A man (59) must have been quite annoyed on Tuesday morning in Vienna-Donaustadt. Because his roommate had woken him up at around 7 a.m., the Chinese-born man went completely crazy and took out a kitchen knife. The police had to be called. 

The 59-year-old was probably not a morning person: he threatened his roommate with the 23-centimetre-long kitchen knife and gesticulated with cutting movements in the area of his own neck. 

Crime weapon found by officers
The wild man was soon arrested by officers from the Lange-Allee police station without resistance. The murder weapon (see photo) was taken from the Chinese man.

Roommate was reported to the police
According to the police, the suspect is not allowed to approach his flatmate or the apartment. A temporary ban on weapons was also issued. The arrested man made a full confession to the police and was subsequently released.
