There were probably wild scenes in a pub in St. Anton am Arlberg on Sunday evening! Two groups of British holidaymakers had clashed there. A short time later, the situation escalated on the street. In addition to punches and kicks, a 29-year-old British man had the tip of his nose bitten off by an unknown person.
Sunday evening is likely to be remembered by several Britons in St. Anton for a long time to come. Initially, there was an argument between men from two groups of holidaymakers in a pub. One person was probably injured and left the pub with two friends shortly after 8pm.
A scuffle broke out between the two people and the tip of the nose of one of the attacked men, a 29-year-old British man, was bitten off by one of the unknown men.

A short time later, some members of the other group also left the pub in an easterly direction. The two colleagues of the man who had already been injured chased after the men and attacked them unexpectedly with heavy punches and kicks.
An immediate search for the suspects has so far been unsuccessful.

"A scuffle broke out between the individuals, during which the tip of the nose of one of the assaulted, a 29-year-old British man, was bitten off by one of the unknown men," the police said. The brawlers then split up. The attackers fled in the direction of the pedestrian zone.
After first aid, the 29-year-old was taken to hospital in Zams and then to hospital in Innsbruck. "An immediate search for the suspects has so far been unsuccessful," said the investigators.
