Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the most beautiful gown in all the land? Kerstin Lechner wows with a tribute to Jean Paul Gaultier, while Leona König attracts everyone's attention in an eye-catcher by Cher. But other ladies will also cause a sensation with spectacular (dream) gowns. It will be an evening full of fashion statements ...

Would you like a little more? At the Opera Ball, women are not stingy with fabric. But otherwise less is more. But the "otherwise" will have a break on February 27 at the Vienna State Opera when the State Ball is held.

While the gowns of ORF ladies Mirjam Weichselbraun, Teresa Vogl and Lilian Klebow, as well as star violinist Lidia Baich, have already been unveiled, Austrian top model Kerstin Lechner goes one better.

"The inspiration for the dress is a tribute to the 90s. Jean Paul Gaultier was a great source of inspiration," she tells "Krone" (watch the video at www.krone.at) about her indigo velvet dream, which was created by Gottfried Couture in Linz while she posed in front of the lens of photo artist Anzhelika Kroiss.

Lechner is in good company at the Ball of Balls. Because "Die Goldene Note" lady Leona König will also be making a splash, as she will be wearing a real dress by world star Cher on the evening.
