Green duo:

“Full steam ahead into opposition work”

After Governor Markus Wallner will hold in-depth talks with FPÖ leader Christof Bitschi, the Green leadership will only have a seat on the opposition bench. 

"Governor Markus Wallner has decided to leave the reliable black-green Vorarlberg path and enter into coalition talks with the FPÖ," Eva Hammerer comments on the ÖVP party leader's decision. For the Greens, this now means: "Full force and energy into opposition work" "Opposition - we can do that too," emphasizes the state spokesperson.

With the FPÖ in government, opposition is more important than ever. "We will keep a close eye on the government for the next five years! In terms of social justice as well as corruption, human rights and education policy.

Fight for nature and climate protection
"We will also be a very loud voice for nature and climate protection and fight to ensure that Vorarlberg does not completely abandon the path it has successfully taken," says Zadra, referring to the important projects in the area of energy autonomy and public transport. Their commitment will be to a Vorarlberg that stands for humanity, justice and the protection of nature, the duo emphasizes.
