Carinthia also offers a wide range of opportunities for young, up-and-coming companies, but the decisive spark for a real start-up boom is still missing. In the north of Italy, millions are being invested in ecosystems to transform the economy.

There is even a separate map for the Carinthian start-up ecosystem (see PDF below), which is as diverse as it is ramified. Whether educational institutions such as the Alpen-Adria University, the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences or the University of Teacher Education, various research institutes, economic players such as the Chamber of Commerce or public institutions such as BABEG, build! Gründerzentrum or KWF: there is plenty of support for young entrepreneurs.
