How Vienna checks 480,000 trees after the flood

Every single one of Vienna's 480,000 trees in the city's area of responsibility is being checked after the flood and the parks are gradually being reopened. The tricks used by the city gardeners will also help every citizen to better assess any dangers.

Vienna's city gardeners are working flat out with the active assistance of the Vienna Fire Brigade to make the city's 1009 parks safe again: Every single one of the 390,000 trees in Vienna's parks will be checked before they are reopened, as will the 90,000 trees along the streets. The parks will then be reopened - in a specific order.
